East Branch Rocky River

The East Branch Rocky River is a 39-mile-long tributary in northeastern Ohio that originates near Broadview Heights in Cuyahoga County. It flows northward through suburban and rural landscapes, including areas near Strongsville and Berea, before joining the West Branch in North Olmsted to form the main stem of the Rocky River. This river ultimately empties into Lake Erie between Lakewood and Rocky River. The East Branch is valued for its scenic stretches, floodplain forests, and recreational opportunities, particularly steelhead trout and bass fishing.
