These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the website rivermap.online. The site is operated by a private individual based in the Federal Republic of Germany. The website is operated purely on a private and non-commercial basis.

rivermap.online provides free information, maps, and descriptions of rivers and waterways (especially canoeing and kayaking routes). This is a private collection and presentation of publicly available data as well as personal experiences and photographs. There is no claim to completeness, up-to-dateness, or accuracy of the information provided.


§ 3 Limitation of Liability

(1) The information provided serves only as a guide and for entertainment purposes. It does not replace official maps, river guides, or governmental information.

(2) The operator assumes no liability for any damages of any kind arising from the use or non-use of the information provided — in particular not for personal injury, property damage, or financial loss while navigating the described waterways.

(3) Use of the information is at the user’s own risk. Every visitor to the waterways is personally responsible for their own safety and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

(1) All texts, photos, maps, and other content on rivermap.online are protected by copyright.

(2) Private and commercial use is expressly permitted provided that

- the source is clearly stated: “rivermap.online” and - a working link to the original website https://rivermap.online is included.

(3) Distortion or use in a misleading context is not permitted.
