Beschreibung des Flusses West Fork Stones River
The West Fork Stones River is a 39-mile-long tributary in central Tennessee that flows through Rutherford and Wilson Counties. It originates near Midland in southern Rutherford County and flows northward, passing through Murfreesboro, where it runs just west of downtown and along the Stones River National Battlefield, the site of a major Civil War battle. The river joins the Middle Fork near Murfreesboro and later meets the East Fork near Smyrna to form the main stem of the Stones River, which eventually flows into J. Percy Priest Lake. It is a rocky, scenic stream popular for paddling, fishing, and historical visits.
