Beschreibung des Flusses Tippecanoe River
The Tippecanoe River is a gentle, approximately 182-mile (293 km) long river in northern Indiana, USA. It rises from Crooked Lake (also referred to as Big Lake) in a region rich in natural lakes and is therefore often called the “River of Lakes,” as it is fed by about 88 natural lakes. The river meanders through a varied landscape of forests, fields, and floodplains before joining the Wabash River near Battle Ground. It is known for its calm flow, diverse wildlife and plant life, as well as its historical significance, particularly the Battle of Tippecanoe in 1811.
