Incomappleux River

The Incomappleux River courses roughly sixty-eight kilometres southward from glacial origins in the Selkirk Mountains of southeastern British Columbia, cutting a remote valley of ancient inland temperate rainforest before joining the Columbia River system via the Beaton Arm of Upper Arrow Lake. In this roadless wilderness of towering old-growth cedars and hemlocks, recreation centres on demanding self-reliant pursuits such as strenuous bushwhacking hikes, expert-level kayaking through swift technical rapids, and quiet fishing for native trout amid pristine mountain solitude.
