Flathead River

The Flathead River winds through the rugged northwestern reaches of Montana, formed by the meeting of its three pure forks high in the Rocky Mountains near Glacier National Park and the vast Bob Marshall Wilderness. Fed by glacial melt and alpine springs, its cold, crystal-clear waters rush through deep forested valleys and broad timbered bottoms before expanding into Flathead Lake and continuing onward.
