Pine River (Lincoln County / Wisconsin)

The Pine River (in Lincoln County, Wisconsin) is a small, lively tributary of the Wisconsin River in northern Wisconsin. Originating in hilly terrain north of Wausau, it flows through forested areas with rocky sections before joining the Wisconsin River. The river is especially popular among whitewater kayakers and paddlers due to its frequent rapids and challenging stretches.
