The Little Tobique River is a narrow, winding river in northwestern New Brunswick, Canada. It originates in Nictau Lake in Mount Carleton Provincial Park and flows approximately 59.77 km | 37.14 mi through the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains before emptying into the Tobique River at Nictau. The river is known for its fast currents, tight bends with tree sweepers and log jams, making it technically challenging for canoeing. It offers scenic landscapes, gravel bars for camping, and good trout fishing, although the fish are usually small.
