The Serpentine

The Belgrade Lakes are a chain of seven lakes in the area around Belgrade, Maine, USA. They consist of East Pond, North Pond, Great Pond, Long Pond, Messalonskee Lake, McGrath Pond, and Salmon Pond. These lakes are connected by creeks and streams and ultimately flow into the Kennebec River near Waterville via Messalonskee Stream.
