The Cupsuptic River is a 38.1 km long river in the U.S. state of Maine. It rises near the Canadian border and flows into Cupsuptic Lake, a northern branch of Mooselookmeguntic Lake, which drains into the Androscoggin River via other lakes. Despite its short length, its drainage basin includes three of the highest mountains in New England: Kennebago Divide, Snow Mountain, and White Cap Mountain. The name "Cupsuptic" comes from the Abenaki language and means "enclosed stream."
